The pool temperature was colder than normal, making it uncomfortable for swimming. Accessibility for mobility impaired guests is lacking due to historic site limitations, which could limit enjoyment of the treasure. A reservation mishap at the restaurant left us outside on a chilly night when we expected an indoor setting for our anniversary dinner, dampening the celebration.

This place is a beautiful old hacienda, really unique. The room we stayed in was fine, with great decor and a amazing view of the volcano- we felt like we were in a different world. The pool area is gorgeous, and the service was quick and attentive. Plus, after talking to the staff, it was clear they really care about creating a special experience . We had one wonderful night here, and it was super quiet, which allowed us to sleep like babies, not interrupted once.

It wasn't inexpensive, but the experience was worth every penny.

during my recent stay, I enjoyed relaxing walks in Parque Ayoa, just a little over 1.5 kilometers away, and marveled at the beautiful Templo y Hospital San Juan de Dios, which is only a short stroll of about 2 kilometers from the hotel, making it a perfect hub for weekend city explorations.
